We had been in Iceland for a few weeks already, and had made quite a few connections with the local youth community. A lot of the youth that come to the cafe we worked at have broken families and have never felt loved. They are desperately searching for anyone to love them. Which is the exact reason we went to Iceland, to share the undesereved overwhelming love Jesus showed us...
It is just after we had finished eating dinner as an Iceland outreach family. As the night was approaching we settled in to the prayer room for some relaxation and community. Our plan had been to talk about what we had done so far in Iceland, and recharge our minds for the coming weeks. What happened was quite unexpected but it is truth, the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. So as we began to talk, laugh, and relax, about eight or ten kids joined our family. To be honest, we didn't really know what to do at first. The kids were not allowed to be downstairs in the prayer room at this time. Also this was supposed to be our time as a team to take a break. Just as we were going to ask the kids to leave we realized the opportunity before us. This was what we had been asking God for. So with a few strums of a guitar and a change in our hearts we began to what we knew best, worship. We let the Holy Spirit take the lead and started to sing to our creator. As we sang and cried out to God something in the atmosphere shifted. It was no longer just a hang out time it was God shattering the brokenness inside each person in the room. After about 30 minutes of worship one of the girls began to weep. In the moment it was quite shocking because we had done nothing except worship Jesus. It is so crazy what happens when you turn your eyes to Jesus and let Him do what He wants to. This young girl got delivered of a lot of the hurt and pain that had been in her life. She met the only man that could set her free. For indeed He is "I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."(Revelation 1:17b-18)
This is but one of the many stories from my time in Iceland. The same love I was carrying in Iceland I will be taking to Alaska with 26 other blazing circuit riders. Our team has great favor and has been given quite a few donations. Individually I am still in need of $1000 by this week in order to go. Through this season I have constantly asked myself, "How did I get to this place?" On a whim I joined a missions organization to get closer to God(planning my way). Now I walk confidently as a son of The King. I know who I am in Jesus Christ, and my life will forever be changed(being established by my Father). I am my beloved's and He is mine! It is out of this knowledge that I know my life will now and forever be defined by going deeper and deeper with Him. I am called to fight for a generation and to make disciples of all nations. Knowing who I am I have been praying about my future and asking the Lord what He is calling me to do with my life. I feel like he highlighted a few things that are in store for me. I hope you don't mind me sharing with you what I heard Him speak.
I will very soon be finishing up my Fire and Fragrance Discipleship Training School(DTS) through Youth With A Mission(YWAM) in Kona, Hawaii. Upon graduating I will then be able to proceed to any other school within YWAM as a whole. My DTS has been an exciting adventure with the Lord, learning more about who He is and who I am made to be in Him. I say this to lead into what I feel the Lord leading me to next. I truly believe He is calling me to full time ministry, laying down my life for the cause of taking the gospel to all the earth. I believe He wants to equip me to do this through The School of The Circuit Riders which will be starting July 7th and the School of Biblical Foundations and Missions(SBFM) in September.
Circuit Riders is a five week lecture portion followed by a two week outreach. It is also apart of Fire and Fragrance in Kona. The school is designed to take young people deeper into intimacy with God and equip them to reach the nations for Jesus.
SBFM is on Maui starting two weeks after Circuit Riders on Sep. 10th. The following is a quote from the SBFM website, "The goal of SBFM is to have young people grounded in God’s word and impassioned by the Holy Spirit to live holy, God glorifying lives. This comes as we seek to understand the ideas that have shaped our worldview and submit those ideas to God and His revealed Word. The result is a radical transformation of the individual, which in turn leads the way for social transformation."
I desire to go to these school's because my heart has been set ablaze for the lost people of my generation. As I have walked with the Lord in my DTS, He has shown me the urgency of the hour in which I live. He is calling this generation to walk in holyness, purity, unbounding love, and to take His heart to the people who so desperately are looking for a saviour. I'm ready to fight the good fight of faith and take hold of my eternal calling. This provides me with the unique opportunity to trust God for my finances. My immediate need is $2,500 that includes all fees for Circuit Riders(Due in 3 weeks). SBFM is $3,800 covering all the fees for the three month school.
So now set before me is the challenge to assemble a team of monthly supporters to not only support, but truly partner with me in this journey. It's not a one man mission, it's a team effort. I'm asking you to pray and consider being a monthly financial supporter or one time supporter of the work that I do (seriously even $10 bucks a month helps!), besides wouldn’t you love to know that you’re supporting a young man who’s goal is to see revival come to ALL the Nations of the World?!

The Iceland Adventure Begins...
Welcome in Iceland!(something they say here) That' right, friends and family--I am officially in Iceland and will be here for two months. Thank you for reading this blog update and a major thank you to those who supported me getting here. For some of you, this blog post will contain some information you may have already heard.
For the last three months I have been in Kona, Hawaii doing a discipleship training school (DTS) through Youth With A Mission (YWAM). As a student I learned about the Father heart of God, His character, and received training to follow harder after Jesus. My training consists of both the first three months of a lecture phase along with a two and a half month outreach to another country. My class of around 90 people, including leaders, split into nine different outreach groups. We have teams right now in Mozambique, Africa, Nepal, Kosovo/Pakistan, West Coast America, the Hawaiian Islands, Europe, Cambodia, Egypt/Jordan, and Iceland. My outreach team, as you know, has been sent to Iceland. For the next two months we will be working with different ministries to share the love of Jesus with the Icelandic people.
These past months have been an amazing journey into the heart of God. I have learned and grown so much, yet more than anything I have caught what the men and women of God in the YWAM community carry. I have found myself in desperate pursuit of a loving real God that loves every single person on the earth including me, which totally blows my mind. I always believed in God and knew about His love for me, but now I'm falling in love with Him because He is the only one who deserves anything. Jesus chose to step off His throne in heaven in Genesis when we first fell. Did you ever think about that? Jesus came to the earth as the seed of the woman to crush the head of the serpent and chose the cross so He could win us back to Himself. The greatest revelation I have had is this: Jesus loved us so much He would give up His life up so that we could LIVE! I want to live for Him and do my best to walk rightly in His sight knowing His grace is greater than my weakness, and He paid the cost for my sins. I want to live for Jesus and I believe that means going to the hardest and darkest places on earth and being the light of Christ.
My team is going to be working with a few different ministries in Iceland Catch The Fire(CTF), Cafe Rot (pronounced "rote"), a local coffee shop, and a team from Bethel Church. CTF is a ministry focusing on the homeless, prostitutes, and drug addicts. They also have a Saturday night "street-free cocoa ministry". The Cafe Rot is a cafe that tries to reach out to local teens. Many of the teens come and spend hours just hanging out in the cafe. Something draws them to it that they cannot understand; that something, I tell you, is the love of Jesus. Most of the teens come from broken homes and have dropped out of school. Many smoke and are very involved in drugs and alcohol. As of this moment we are only briefly in contact with the Bethel group and are not sure what we will be doing with them. We are believing Jesus to break into the hearts of the people of Iceland, that He is shaking the faulty foundation they have lived on for years. We believe He is greater than their brokenness and that the darkness that has covered this land for so long is being destroyed. Please continue to pray for and outpouring of His Holy Spirit over Iceland.
We have already seen many seeds get planted in the hearts of the people here and it is phenomenal. Please prayerfully support my team and I. I would also love to pray for you in any way I can.
